Order Your Indiana Farm Fresh Turkey For Thanksgiving

HARVEST Fresh Market has partnered with Schacht Farm to offer fresh, free-range heritage turkeys for Thanksgiving. The turkeys have been pasture-raised on Matt and Mindy Corry’s family farm near Bloomington. The turkeys receive about 70% of their diet from forage, making a healthier bird both to raise and to eat. The remainder of their diet comes from local grains with organic supplements.

To insure the utmost freshness, the turkeys will be hand-processed on Friday, November 20th and will be available at the Market for pick-up on Saturday, November 21st.

The turkeys will cost $4.75 per pound and will weigh between 16-22 pounds. Because the turkeys are raised on a small family farm, we will not be taking orders for turkeys of a specific size. When you arrive at the Market you may select your turkey from those available, therefore, if “size matters” you should plan to come early on the 21st to ensure the widest selection of turkey sizes.

You may reserve your Thanksgiving turkey by RSVPing below or just stop by the Market and place your order at the Deli. All orders require a deposit of $95.00. If ordering online, a manager will contact you to confirm your order and process your deposit payment over the phone.

Because the turkeys are available by size on a first come-first served basis, if the turkey you select weighs less than 20 pounds (therefore costing less than $95.00), you will receive a refund; if your turkey weighs more than 20 pounds the balance will be due at pick-up.
