Dinner To Go
Uncle Munchie's BBQ
09/11/2010

We start the grills around 7:00 am. Uncle Munchie slowly smokes the ribs and chicken over hickory and apple wood coals. The meat is continually basted with a secret, specially seasoned basting sauce. He then finishes the meat with his own “Pig Juice” which gives his BBQ a unique flavor. The first batch of ribs and chicken comes off the grill around Noon.
Beside the ribs and chicken, Uncle Munchie will also be cooking pork butts. They are prepared the old fashioned way, smoked very slowly over hickory and apple wood coals, which makes the meat tender, juicy and flavorful. This is not fast food folks. The pulled-pork BBQ won’t be ready until 4:00 pm.
Please note that Uncle Munchie is no longer preparing beef brisket; however, Harvest Fresh Market serves its own brisket as a dinner to go each week.
Add some of Harvest’s hand made potato salad, Cole slaw and baked beans for a real Southern-style BBQ feast.
